COMPASSIONATE HANDS FOR THE DISABLED FOUNDATION

Compassionate Hands for the Disabled Foundation (CHDF) is a non-governmental organization that was started in 2008, to rehabilitate children with physical and mental disability who have been neglected, abandoned or mistreated by family members due to their circumstance. The institution located in Ruai, Nairobi has to date rescued a total of 134 children and integrated 21 children back to the community. On 29th June 2019, the GTBank Family represented by 15 members of staff visited the home with donations comprising of wheelchairs, commode chairs, standing frames and exercise balls; all necessary equipment for the children’s rehabilitation to better health and living. The Bank also donated several bags of dry foodstuff including sugar, rice and flour. It was a great day where the GTBank family participated in various activities including preparation of a meal for the children, feeding the children, entertainment and cleaning
